WELCOME TO
THE GRIND ESCAPE

We are Jules, Ali and Esme - The Three Adventurers! Not in the same sense of, say, Ranulph Fiennes. More in the sense of a normal family who have decided to do things differently! (Just to manage your expectations here...)

We are currently spending two months in Costa Rica (to give you an example of what we mean by 'adventure') and decided to chronicle our journey here. This will include the mishaps, and fun stuff, along the way. We have no interest in putting forward a sugar coated version of life. If life was sugar coated it would just give you diabetes. Better to add a little roughage along the way to move things along!

It's also a lot more fun than posting a bunch of 100 gazillion photos on facebook to show our friends and family what we're up to (there really are only so many photos of a tree, or a sunset, or a beach that you can take). And to show that, despite what happens to us, we embrace the lot as part of the whole adventure.
